Facial Reflexology

Facial reflexology incorporates reflexology techniques, Mama pressure points as well as using lymph drainage techniques. Taking inspiration from many of the historic Facial Reflexology maps, but combining this with modern reflexology knowledge, this is an of the moment therapy. Using a single reflex face map, it is quick to learn and easy to interpret which reflex you are working.

This FHT Accredited treatment is really a pleasure to give as well as to receive.

This is an ideal course for you to add to your Reflexology practice as it can be carried out in on your Lafuma or Massage Couch. Facial Reflexology is also useful for broadening out your client base as it will appeal to people who do not like to have their feet touched, and to those clients who like the feeling of facials but want a treatment which uses less product.

This course is available both as a face to face course, in Bursledon, Southampton, or can now be accessed as an online course.

Both courses will cover

Facial Reflexology Techniques

Facial Reflexology Routine

Feeling the reflexes

Hisotry of Facial Reflexology

Contra-actions and contra-indications

Marketing your treatments

The face to face course comprised some preparation work, a full days practical at the QE2 centre, following which students need to complete a workbook as 12 case study treatments.

Online students need to complete the online work, complete a workbook and then have a Zoom tutorial before they start their case studies. The Zoom tutorial is to ensure your technique is good, so you will need to provide a model, and any questions you have are answered. This means that by the time you start your case studies, you are happy with the practical. Although we allow 90 minutes for your Zoom tutorial, most students will complete the tutorial in around the hour.

The online course can be started at any time by following this link: https://calminginfluences.learnworlds.com

For dates of the face to face courses, and for the prices for both courses, please see the prices page.
