Founded in 2005, Calming Influences is dedicated to supporting reflexologists in progressing beyond core training into more confident, informed, and specialist practice. Whether you want to deepen your clinical understanding, expand into specialist areas, or strengthen your professional credibility, our courses are designed to help you move your practice forward.

I am Dr Jackie James, with a Professional Doctorate in Health Science from the University of Portsmouth. My work bridges research and practice, ensuring every course is grounded in evidence, clinical relevance, and real-world application. This means you are not just learning techniques, you are developing the understanding behind them, so you can practise with greater clarity and confidence.

I love being a reflexologist and I most definitely want to continue to provide this wonderful therapy for many years to come.
