Reproductive Wellbeing: Fertility, and Maternity

This course is designed to help you confidently support clients across the full reproductive journey, from preconception and fertility through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period.

It builds your knowledge, clinical understanding, and practical skills so you can work safely and effectively in this specialist area, while also strengthening your confidence in practice. With a clear focus on hormonal physiology and the emotional aspects of reproductive health, you will learn how to make informed, evidence-based decisions and communicate with clarity and professionalism.

As your understanding deepens, you will be able to position yourself more strongly within your local area as a practitioner who can genuinely support fertility and maternity clients, helping you to attract and retain this client group with confidence.

By the end of the course, you will feel more assured working with complex reproductive presentations and better equipped to offer thoughtful, informed reflexology that clients trust and return to.

Supporting the Fertility Client

While there are many reflexology courses available on fertility, this one takes a natural, holistic approach. Reflexology has been shown to aid in conception, and in this course, you’ll explore the possible reasons behind this phenomenon. A key emphasis is placed on the endocrine system, particularly how stress impacts hormonal balance, as well as the emotional barriers that can arise during the fertility journey.

Supporting the Maternity Client

In addition to fertility, the course includes a dedicated module on maternity care, providing reflexologists with the knowledge and guidance needed to treat clients safely and confidently during pregnancy and postpartum. You will learn how to adapt reflexology treatments to accommodate physical and hormonal changes, address common pregnancy-related discomforts, and apply safe, non-invasive techniques that support maternal well-being. Key safety considerations, contraindications, and best-practice guidance are included, ensuring every treatment is delivered with professionalism and care for both mother and baby. By completing this module, you will gain the confidence to integrate reflexology into maternity care, offering reassurance, relaxation, and evidence-informed support at this important life stage.
